P Kirk the CEO of QUEST EDTECH would like to thank you for the invitation to The Grand Mentor Mentor Introduction Day 2026 on this past August 5th. Much appreciated to CSII: Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation - BAScii Program for your trust in me, continuing the appointment to be the official mentor to the BASCII students.

It’s been great working with the students and the faculty span from Thailand to Korea for the past 2 years. Let’s make a memory for many years!

Michael Waitze invited our CEO Kirk Pathumanun onto the Asia Tech Podcast to dig into one question: how does AI-powered personalized learning actually prepare students for technology-driven careers?

As a mentor at BASCII it gave me the metal clarity to provide actual usecase. Then as the mentor to CSII: Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation - BAScii Program students were using AI was about how a chatbot could just deliver you a paper. Students were using AI to write papers and just turning them in. The whole thing turned into 'AI slop.' But BASCII, being the Alpha-school approach where we match startup teams with a mentor like me, we changed the game. Instead of a paper-based assessment, what we do now is: you have to build a startup. You actually have to get users. You actually have to hit traction. So they can't use AI to cheat; they literally have to use AI to ideate and build the product. They have to get users, and learn how to use the agent to get customers. That's the hybrid approach using AI with the students."

So freshmen learn to work alongside autonomous agents from year one like using Hermes and Cursor, the same way they'll have to in the real economy where agentic will be the next API replacement.

The students who win the next decade won't be the ones who avoided AI, or the ones who leaned on it to cheat. They'll be the ones who learned to build with it.

Quest Edtech began as Quest Language, an online language school, and was founded in 2018 as a seed-funded online coding-education platform. During COVID it launched duPhonics, using the metaverse and immersive "telenanny" content to keep young learners engaged through lockdown. Today it has iterated again — building and educating agentic AI framework on multi-modal LLMs for the enterprise client in various verticals.
