The University of Otago visited Thailand!

Led by Deputy Vice Chancellor, James Maclaurin, while here they held meetings with Thailand’s Office of the Civil Service Commission, signed MOAs with Assumption Sriracha College and Chulalongkorn University, held a networking event at the residence of the New Zealand ambassador, attended an agent recognition event, and attended the New Zealand Education Fair.

It was a great week for the Embassy as we got to help promote one of New Zealand’s world class universities and build the connections between government institutions and education providers that deliver for both Kiwis and Thais.

มหาวิทยาลัยโอทาโกเยือนประเทศไทย !

ศาสตราจารย์เจมส์ แม็คลอริน รองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยโอทาโก นำคณะผู้แทนเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย โดยในโอกาสนี้คณะฯ ได้เข้าพบสำนักงานคณะกรรมการข้าราชการพลเรือน (ก.พ.) และร่วมพิธีลงนามบันทึกความตกลงระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยโอทาโกกับโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญศรีราชา รวมถึงระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยโอทาโกกับจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย นอกจากนี้ คณะฯ ยังได้เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยง (Networking Event) ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตนิวซีแลนด์ ตลอดจนงานเลี้ยงขอบคุณผู้แทนสถาบันการศึกษา (Agent Recognition Event) และงานมหกรรมนิวซีแลนด์เพื่อการศึกษา (New Zealand Education Fair) อีกด้วย

นับเป็นสัปดาห์แห่งความภาคภูมิใจของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตนิวซีแลนด์ประจำประเทศไทย ที่ได้มีส่วนร่วมสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับโลกของนิวซีแลนด์ พร้อมทั้งมีส่วนในการกระชับความร่วมมือและสร้างความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและสถาบันการศึกษาของทั้งสองประเทศ อันจะนำไปสู่ประโยชน์ร่วมกันและความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้นระหว่างประชาชนนิวซีแลนด์และไทย

This morning New Zealand’s Ambassador to Thailand, Raylene Liufalani, joined a meeting on the diplomatic corps with Prime Minister Anutin and other Thai Ministers.
